Baking has always been one of my greatest pleasures, helping my mother in the kitchen and licking the spoon when she had finished was always such a treat. Date and Walnut Traybake
The classic combination of nuts and dates tastes wonderful, but the caramelized topping scattered with chopped walnuts makes it sublime, my husband's favourite, what more can I say!
